Demon Slayer double giveaway!

August 30, 2011

Hey, guess what? Today is release day for So I Married a Demon Slayer. It’s the story of the one half-succubus who got away after The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers. This story was such a kick to write, and I’m so glad it’s finally out there.

It’s also getting some awesome reviews, which is really fun. But for those of you who didn’t get an early copy, I’ve got one right here in my hot little hands.

In fact, let me give away two books today – a signed copy of So I Married a Demon Slayer, along with a signed, first edition copy of The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers.

Just post and tell me why you would – or wouldn’t – want to marry a demon slayer!

  1. Robin K Says:

Well I would marry them for protection and the adventure.

  2. Valerie Long Says:

Hmm I think marrying a demon slayer would be kinda cool, at the very least you’d know you were always safe from demons but I’m sure life would never be dull being married to one either! =)

  3. Viki S. Says:

I don’t know what I’d do. I think if the slayer evaluated the demon first I’d be okay. There has to be good demons and I wouldn’t want their blood on our hands. So if he was fair than I’d marry him.

  4. Lisa Mason Says:

Reason I would marry a demon slayer: the protection from demons.
Reason Not to: the risk of possibly losing the love of your life.

  5. Two words: Eye candy. A demon slaying significant other would have to be in pretty good shape to face the world’s evil day in and day out. Now, do they make a special detergent to get demon blood stains out of clothes, or is it better to just toss ’em?

  6. Raonaid Luckwell Says:

Well by marrying a demon hunter you know demons and mundanes would never touch you. Well you’d be the number one target but the thought of him fighting to protect me makes me smile

  7. margaret whelehan Says:

I would marry a deamin slayer because of all the adventures and places i would get to see. Besides the drop dead georgous hubby i would have tooo. πŸ™‚

  8. Dana Whyte Says:

I actually think I would much rather marry a Griffin… But if I would marry a demon slayer I think it would be for the adventure and excitement!

  9. xchylerconn Says:

hmmm this would all depend on my mood haha. I’ve written books being the Demon, being the one in love with the Demon, and being the one who is hunting the Demon. But I think I’m stuck. In one way i could so see “myself” beside my husband hunting them, but then again if i stopped to think… “well is their a reason this person is a demon? Whats their story?” lol I want to know your twist and out look lol so *crossing fingers* to win πŸ™‚ xchylerconn@gmail.com πŸ™‚

  10. Michelle McMichael Says:

Life would certainly be interesting! I do like a challenge so i’m voting yes I would (if I wasn’t already married) πŸ™‚

  11. chaco_kid Says:

Ok, if the world was an unsafe place filled with demons, he’d be a pretty handy fellow. Of course the hours are long, the pay is lousy, it’s dangerous, and his attention span on me might waver – those are all downers. Smokin’ hot demonslayer – awesome! If I happened to have the misfortune of being a demon it could get dangerous and I’d have to work twice as hard to keep him interested…. Wow – tough options – but I’m leaning towards keeping him.

  12. Why I would marry a Demon Slayer…
    1. He would be to busy to notice I hadn’t cleaned house
    2. His clothes would probably be ruined most of the time (you know hunting and killing demons can be heck on your outfits), so I wouldn’t have to do laundry…I would just get to go shopping for new clothes (for him of course)
    3. He can always pick up some take out on his way home from slaying demons, which means I won’t have to cook
    4. He would be great eye candy at my next school reunion (take that Bobby D***)
    5. And every time he had to miss an anniversary or birthday because he was off fighting demon’s…well…let’s just say…think about the make up “fun”

  13. debbie haupt Says:

Hi Angie, congrats for pub day!!!!
I would want to marry a demon slayer if he came with a talking dog like Pirate.

    Deb

  14. Cindy Anderson Says:

Why would I – or wouldn’t – I want to marry a demon slayer? I would have to say why Would I and the answer is: they can’t be any worse than a nondemom slayer and they would be much much better than a demon :O)

  15. I would! The sexiness seems to be required to be a demon slayer plus you’d always be safe πŸ™‚

  16. Donna _A Says:

Oh no! Too much mess. Plus the hours suck and there is always weapons everywhere. Besides that would make me the pawn used to get the slayer to back off. Nope. I’d rather read about them.

  17. A demon slayer would be a good guy going after the bad guys, so that would make him a hero. He would be protecting the world, our family, and me. That makes him perfect husband material as far as I’m concerned!

    Andrea

  18. donnas Says:

Really its a hard call. I mean if you did you know he would be strong and able to protect you and take care of things you need him too. And of course a good guy. But at the same time imagine all the icky things you would have to clean up. And really how hard are demon guts and blood to get out of clothes? And what kind of nasty creatures will be after him so he cant go after them. And all the worrying when hes out fighting. I guess it would just have to depend on the guy.

  19. Joelle Says:

Why I would marry a Demon Slayer… To get my matchmaking mother off my back. With the added bonus that he’s employed!

  20. Of course, I would marry a demonslayer, who would not? A smoking hot hulk of a hero who will keep me safe from evil. What more could a woman ask for? Yes, yes, yes. Almost as good as getting the Demon Slayer double give away. Thanks, Angie, Congrats on the release date. Eileen

  21. I’d have to pass as a matter of self preservation.

  22. Cherie Says:

Married to a Demon Slayer would definitely make life more interesting. It would put a whole new meaning to the phrase – “I’m late for dinner because I got tied up at work”.

  23. laura Says:

Well, I think I have already married one! My husband David knowing exactly how to slay demons.
In fact, to cure the demons in our youngest son one day my husband told him to go take a bath, when he ask why, my husband replied, to wash the demons out…and you know what…it almost worked!! We went to check on our son to find him in the tub slowly rubbing his arm with soap, when we asked him what he was doing he replied, washing the demons out! All it takes is soap!

  24. John Says:

    Angie,

I would not want to marry a demon slayer. I would like to have children and I just wouldn’t feel right trying to raise them while worrying threats to the wife and kids. And to be completely forthcoming, while I like a woman who can take care of herself, I am no sure I could deal with not being able to do “anything” to protect my wife from threats.

    See ya at Archon

  25. Congratulations! I can’t wait to read it! πŸ™‚

I wouldn’t mind marrying a demon slayer because there would probably be a lot of hot “I might not survive my next mission” sex. Oh, the adventure and protection would be great too.

  26. Katy Franz Says:

I’m so excited to read your latest book, yay! πŸ™‚ I would want to marry a demon slayer because I think we would have a lot in common. We both love demon slaying, adventure and excitement! πŸ™‚

  27. Chesty Drawers Steel Butt Says:

Well if they all look like the ones you dream up…. πŸ™‚

  28. well, it could be good, i dont think it would ever be boring.. adventure! travel! new and weird life forms! whoohooo!! however the weapons cleaning could get boring after awhile, and getting blood out of laundry.. i hope i win! thanks for the awesome contest!!

  29. I would want to be married to a demon slayer because hey, if he is that great at slaying demons, then he has to be splendidly combustible in bed! I would love his spunkiness and the humor of his stories of his adventures would keep me tuned in for life.

  30. KAth Says:

It would be a bit awkward to marry a demon slayer given that I live with High Daemon Abdon. She’s touchy that way.
    πŸ˜‰

  31. Christy Says:

Heck yes . . . I’ve always wanted someone who could actually slay my demons and a demon slayer would be perfect. πŸ˜‰

  32. Michelle Says:

Although it sounds like a great theory, protection and the good looks, I think it would be too much drama in my life. I would constantly be looking over my shoulder.

  33. Brandie lucas Says:

I think it would be awesome to be with a demon slayer! Thy seem so big and strong and could take care of anything! Oh so sexy lol

  34. Erin Says:

I would marry a demon slayer because at the very least there would always be exciting stories to tell!
