My supernatural pet is Nostra the psychic cat.
She’ll fit in great with my other 2 cats, especially when we get a bigger house after
she gives me the winning lottery numbers.
January 19, 2010 at 12:19 pm
Nostra is the pet for me as well. I wonder how she will handle the obnoxiously lovable Jack Russell named Stewie that runs around my house now.
Hope she doesn’t pee on him!
January 19, 2010 at 1:49 pm
Nostra is the pet for me too. She’ll go great with my other kitty – I wonder though if there are other options…
January 19, 2010 at 1:56 pm
I got Smoky the Phoenix. I’ve always wanted a bird 🙂
January 19, 2010 at 1:57 pm
LOL What is it with the cat? Nostra is extra busy today. I always get Frodo, the talking dog. I think he sees how many Schnicker-poodle treats that I let Lizzie give Pirate.
May 13, 2010 at 1:52 am
i always get frodo as well.probly cuz my dog wacco is the twin to pirate! i love it!these books were amazing and my new fave series!thanks so much for creating them!
January 19, 2010 at 2:06 pm
Your ideal pet is Smoky, the phoenix!
Regal and inquisitive, the phoenix is one of the oldest and most exotic birds. Let her sit on your shoulder and you’ll both be a hit around town.
I was hoping for a dragon but a Phoenix works
January 19, 2010 at 2:08 pm
My ideal pet is Smoky, the phoenix!
I am so looking forward to being a hit around town LOL
January 19, 2010 at 2:11 pm
oooo Your ideal pet is Smoky, the phoenix!
Regal and inquisitive, the phoenix is one of the oldest and most exotic birds. Let her sit on your shoulder and you’ll both be a hit around town.

January 19, 2010 at 2:21 pm
Hmm I must be different I got a baby Dragon for a pet.
January 19, 2010 at 2:21 pm
My ideal pet is Frodo the talking dog.
Do you deliver?
January 19, 2010 at 2:23 pm
I got Nostra. Sounds perfect, I LOVE cats and cats that tell the future are double bonus. So much for Garfield 😛
January 19, 2010 at 2:28 pm
well evidently I have another psyhic (aka psychotic) cat named Nostra – evidently Zada needs company. Maybe they’ll commune at invisible objects together! LOL!!!

Frodo the talking dog for me. What else, with an email that starts with K9friend?
January 19, 2010 at 3:52 pm
I got Zippy,… but can I feed it my neighbour instead of his cat…. he kills mine so fairplay and all …. LOL No I am not kidding he has pretty much admitted it not once but twice…. Kellen and I are up for a cameo… bring on the bike with the sidecar
January 19, 2010 at 4:16 pm
I got Nostra the psychic cat which I guess may be a step up from the 3 psycho cats I have now
January 19, 2010 at 4:27 pm
Smoky the Phoenix…
Cool – A large mystical bird and 6 mischievious cats, should make life very interesting in my magic cauldron!!
January 19, 2010 at 4:36 pm
I got Nostra the psychic cat. Which is very good, she’ll be able to tell me when my other two cats are going to get into a fight and I will be able to stop them. Good choice!
January 19, 2010 at 5:09 pm
I got Frodo, the talking dog! What a great companion a talking dog would be…he could spy on my cats!
January 19, 2010 at 6:30 pm
I got Phoenix a bird. We haven’t had a bird in the house since the early 80s and then the stupid things wouldn’t stay in the cage. Not exactly my favorite critter but no bad.
Great idea for a contest!
January 19, 2010 at 7:06 pm
My ideal pet is the talking dog, Frodo. I put the adoption post on my blog.
January 19, 2010 at 7:41 pm
Whooo Hooo!
Your ideal pet is Zippy, the three-headed dragon!
Bella and Eerie will love him….But I will need to get a bigger bed and more blankets. If my 13 pound jack can take all the covers Zippy will boot me right out on the floor and cuddle him not me.
January 19, 2010 at 8:22 pm
Your ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!
January 19, 2010 at 8:28 pm
Hey Elie – thanks for the cross post. And you guys are cracking me up here. Koren, if you need to get back into your bed, try to distract the dragon with a sneaker. Dragons adore sneaker laces.
January 19, 2010 at 8:49 pm
Frodo, the talking dog. He had better be pretty forceful, otherwise there is no way in hell he will get a word in at this house!!!!
January 19, 2010 at 9:26 pm
Your ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!
Sure, cats are smart, but yours can see the future. Literally. Treat her to some cat nip, or perhaps a nice scratch behind the ears…and maybe she’ll let you know what else is in store.
Problem is I hate cats. I think your quiz is flawed.
January 19, 2010 at 9:37 pm
The quiz never lies! It’s backed by a talking dog and about fifty biker witches.
January 19, 2010 at 11:40 pm
Nostra is perfect for me. I absolutely love kitties!!!
January 20, 2010 at 6:29 am
Yay, way cool, I wanna be a biker witch 😀
I got Frodo for the 3rd time, lol, he is so my pet.
What one could get a cat, noo 😦 Now I am sad, perhaps I can cheat the next time *lalala*
January 20, 2010 at 8:22 am
I got Nostra the Cat. Which is awesome for me, because I really like cats. Otto isn’t too happy, though. He already has a cat (Ramses). I think he wanted a dragon like Pirate.
My wife really really won’t be happy. She hates cats – and they seem to love her.
January 20, 2010 at 8:26 am
Yea! I got Zippy the Dragon! When do I get him! I can’t wait to introduce him to my bully brother Tyrus.
I had to try for the dragon because my person got a stupid cat.
January 20, 2010 at 11:05 am
Smoky the Phoenix is coming to live with me. I better beef up my fire insurance policy. Does this mean I’m a member of the Owner of the Phoenix now? hee hee
January 20, 2010 at 12:25 pm
My pet is Nostra the Psychic Cat.
January 20, 2010 at 12:54 pm
I got “Your ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!”
January 20, 2010 at 12:58 pm
I got Nostra, the psychic cat! Sure hope she tolerates rugrats.
January 20, 2010 at 1:14 pm
I got Nostra, the psychic kitty. Makes sense since we always had cats when I was growing up. 🙂
January 20, 2010 at 1:32 pm
My supernatural creature is Smokey the phoenix!
And my full name is Leslie Hing Hing Kung, direct descendant of Confucius.

January 20, 2010 at 1:45 pm
My quiz resulted in this statement:
Your ideal pet is Frodo, the talking dog!
I agree my ideal pet is a talking dog only if I get the last word in!!!!
Fun fun fun and if get my name picked want to be a snarky pint sized human with awesome kung-fu skills, because while the first half is true the 2nd part is never going to happen as blood makes me ill!!!

January 20, 2010 at 2:56 pm
My supernatural pet would be Nostra, the psychic cat 🙂
January 20, 2010 at 3:03 pm
Your ideal pet is Frodo, the talking dog!
He’s charming at chatty. He’ll be your best friend for a tummy rub – or that pork chop from last night. Just don’t let him hop on a motorcycle with the biker witches or you’ll be in for a wild ride.
Although I’m pretty sure the dogs I have at home talk to me now. Heehee
January 20, 2010 at 11:27 pm
My pet is Frodo the talking dog.
January 21, 2010 at 12:38 am
Your ideal pet is Zippy, the three-headed dragon!
He may not be the most handsome creature on Earth, but who else can fly you to work? Or start up the barbecue grill in a single breath? Just make sure you have plenty of room in your bed – dragons like to cuddle.
January 21, 2010 at 10:52 am
My ideal pet is Zippy the Three Headed dragon –
(mostly due to the fact that my son did the quiz with me and he’s a bloodthirsty little bugger – 😉
I love your quizzes!
January 21, 2010 at 4:43 pm
Nostra, the psychic cat! I hope sNostra is really big for a cat, cuz if not my English Mastiff is going to gobble her up.
January 21, 2010 at 7:35 pm
My pet is Frodo, the talking dog!
thanks,
Dina

January 21, 2010 at 9:41 pm
What fun. I got Nostra, the psychic cat. It should fit in well with our other 2 cats, 4 dogs (one a demon puppy), a ball python, and 4 peacocks. If the snake starts talking, I’m out of here.
Was fun. Good luck with your book releases.
January 22, 2010 at 7:36 am
I have Smokey the Phoenix, which is an excellent choice. I always thought that a Phoenix would be a cool pet, and an awesome desing for a tattoo.
January 22, 2010 at 11:11 am
My ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!
Perfect because I am a cat person- I currently have 3. I don’t think any are psychic but Ginger does always greet me at the door when I come home from grocery shopping and have her cat food or kitty treats (she doesn’t seem to be around any other time), so maybe she is psychic.
January 22, 2010 at 3:57 pm
Woo hoo! I got Frodo, the talking dog! He can totally have that pork chop from last night! I hate leftover pork chops. 😀
January 22, 2010 at 10:32 pm
This was fun!
Your ideal pet is Frodo, the talking dog!

Nostra the psychic cat was my pet. What’s really odd is I used to have a cat that looked just like this one. Strange huh ?
January 23, 2010 at 12:26 pm
Hmmm…the power of Nostra.
January 25, 2010 at 9:53 am
I got Zippy…and was very proud that I did! When I was a kid, I thought a pet Dragon would be neat…after watching that Disney movie of course. I always thought that mine would be the fire breathing variety, extremely protective, and for some reason I had it in my mind that he would eat Italian food mostly. Thanks! That quiz was a fun interruption for my day! 🙂
January 25, 2010 at 1:50 pm
I got Smoky..got love having a pet that gets rid of snoopy strangers 😀
Hugs,Danette
January 25, 2010 at 3:56 pm
My ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat! And what a cute cat that is!
January 26, 2010 at 4:44 am
Ok, I took the quiz 3 times and got Nostra every time. Good thing the cat’s psychic because I’m obviously not.
Only problem is that I’m super allergic to cats. (Dogs too.) Perhaps due to the fact that Nostra is supernatural, the hives wouldn’t be as bad…
January 26, 2010 at 6:28 am
Nostra the psychic cat is for me! She my cat Phoebe might need time to adjust to each other but I’m sure once Phoece learns the reward having Nostra around could reap, she’ll gladly put up with a new room mate!
January 26, 2010 at 7:05 am
Zippy the 3 headed dragon is the pet for me! He is so adorable. I cannot wait for him to meet La Belle, Boo Boo and Cayle Rose.
January 26, 2010 at 8:21 am
I got Smoky the Phoenix.
I never thought of myself as a bird owner but having a kick ass phoenix rocks!
*Strangers who dare inter my yard – beware!*
January 26, 2010 at 9:18 am
My ideal pet is Frodo, the talking dog!
Haha, I love it. I’m dog person and your little quiz sniffed me out. I think that’s one of the reasons that I love your books so much. Pirate makes my day. :^)
January 26, 2010 at 9:31 am
Frodo the talking dog!!! What a great match for me.
January 26, 2010 at 10:15 am
I got Frodo, the talking dog.

January 26, 2010 at 12:32 pm
Your ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!
January 26, 2010 at 2:43 pm
I got Nostra, the psychic cat! Which is cool with me and hopefully she’ll be able to help me figure out how to cure my husband of his allergies to pet dander. Hmm, give up the husband? Nah, he can get shots. 😉
January 26, 2010 at 2:45 pm
I got Nostra, the psychic cat. The funny thing is that I said I’d prefer to feed my neighbor’s cat to my pet… maybe that makes her Nostra, the psycho cat? Or maybe she just knows how awful the neighbor’s cat is?
January 26, 2010 at 4:03 pm
Oooo, I got Zippy the three headed dragon! I am so excited, he will fit in perfectly with the zoo otherwise known as my house. I just hope my husband doesn’t mind one more in the bed, he already sleeps all the way on the edge…eh, he only needs a sliver of the bed right? 🙂 Either way, he will be awesome!
January 26, 2010 at 5:17 pm
Yup, Nostra the Psychic Cat sounds about right… hopefully she tells me something more interesting than my current brood, who only seem able to predict suppertime.
January 26, 2010 at 5:32 pm
Hmmmm, it has been decreed my pet is Frodo The Talking Dog. Hope he can carry a conversation.
January 26, 2010 at 6:51 pm
mine is smokey the phoenix.lol
January 26, 2010 at 11:16 pm
Looks like Nostra strikes again! It makes perfectly good sense, since cats have continued to show up on my doorstep through out the years. I have three at the moment. Since Nostra is psychic, maybe she can tell me when the next one is going to show up.
January 27, 2010 at 11:23 am
Nostra as well, I was hoping for Frodo…a talking dog would be cool!
January 27, 2010 at 11:29 am
I got Nostra the psychic cat and I don’t know how that happened. I am a dog lover. I have a Jack Russell terrier and I don’t think he would let a cat in my house.
January 27, 2010 at 4:19 pm
my supernatural pet is Frodo the talking dog. Not really a dog lover, more a kitty fan, but a talking dog would be pretty cool.
January 27, 2010 at 6:49 pm
My Supernatural Pet is Frodo, the talking dog. Somehow I think Dallas will be a little upset and not very impressed. Since he talks ALL of the time…maybe they’ll end up being buddies:)
I’d love to be a sultry–even witchy lounge singer…always wanted to be a witch, wish i could sing and who doesn’t want to be “sultry”, right? LOL….Can’t wait to go get the book. As soon as I get stuff unpacked here–I AM going on a welldeserved book shopping spree. Give Pirate a high paw from Dallas:)
January 28, 2010 at 1:59 am
My ideal pet is Frodo, the talking dog yay! My own dog just does this whine/squeak thing all the time..it would be so much easier if he could talk. I’m sure he would say alot of the same things Pirate says lol 😀
January 28, 2010 at 10:01 am
I got Frodo, the talking dog. Hoping he gets along with Bambi and Princess, (and I swear I did not name them-we rescued both dogs from the ASPCA and they were already named. My 2 daughters would not hear of changing their names and frequently dress them up and take pictures of them. ) How does Frodo feel about feather boas?
January 30, 2010 at 3:53 pm
I got Nostra, which I’m not sure how well he would get along with my Lestat, we call him our vampire kitty, he loves the night and has the teeth. Oh, and he owns the house, even the big lab dog is afraid of him.
January 30, 2010 at 5:31 pm
I liked this!!!!!
Your ideal pet is Smoky, the phoenix!
Regal and inquisitive, the phoenix is one of the oldest and most exotic birds. Let her sit on your shoulder and you’ll both be a hit around town.

I got Nostra too. I already have one cat that I’m sure is posessed by a demon so a psychic cat should feel right at home :o)

Your ideal pet is Frodo, the talking dog!
Great just what i need!!!! My 4 pooches talk back to me enough as it is. lol
February 6, 2010 at 2:07 pm
My pet ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat! I would love for my Jack Russell Petey to be Pirate’s long lost buddy! Petey is a wonderful dog, fiercely loyal and incredibly affectionate. He’s also completely blind due to cataacts. However, this would not stop him from being a kick-ass demon slaying dog!
February 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm
Aww…Petey sounds like a sweetheart. I just love Jack Russells.
February 24, 2010 at 4:01 pm
Jacks are great, but if I had to track ADHD to a patient zero I think it would be a Jack…. unless there is a rodent involved then they have great concentration.
February 10, 2010 at 10:11 pm
Woohoo! Zippy the three headed dragon is my new best friend! Awesomely fitting because I really like the smell of fire. Not to mention big cuddly animals. Baby dragons rock! Oooo can you imagine all the wet kisses when you come home? With three heads and a cuddly tendency you’re going to need a towel handy. Fun quiz!
February 11, 2010 at 11:13 pm
My ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!
February 14, 2010 at 4:36 am
I got Nostra the psychic cat too! Nostra can join my dog–who has an unfortunate tendency to want to chase cats on those rare occasions she is actually awake (she is a retired greyhound and gets confused by smaller, furry, not-dogs). Fortunately Jackie takes retirement very seriously and sleeps about 20 hours a day, and she is otherwise not the brightest bulb in the package–so I’m sure the psychic cat will stay in charge. As it should be.
February 15, 2010 at 5:52 pm
Awww…Jackie sounds like a sweetie. Maybe I’ll send Pirate over to entertain her for the awake hours. Then again, he can nap anywhere so chances are Jackie will have him asleep in no time.
February 16, 2010 at 11:21 pm
My ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat!

hmmm….my 2 cats might not like this! lol
April 4, 2010 at 7:19 pm
My Ideal pet is Zippy, the three-headed dragon. Hmm…Interesting…Ive always wanted to know how fun, or a total disaster having a dragon for a pet…Ohh boy.
April 19, 2010 at 1:26 pm
Frodo the talking dog. Hmm, wonder if he’d mind a rename. We’ve all read “Bored of the Rings ” too many times and that name is dangerous in polite company. 🙂
May 3, 2010 at 11:21 pm
Your ideal pet is Nostra, the psychic cat! Just what I need, another cat. I guess they five I have will learn to deal.
May 24, 2010 at 12:25 pm
I got Smoky, the phoenix. My cat Milo will love having a bird around of his very own, and a giant bird should be in no danger of being eaten … of course, there was that one time that Milo attacked my mother-in-law ….
July 7, 2010 at 9:11 pm
Smokey is my HomeBird, appropriate since I have a Phoenix feather necklace given to me by my best witch friend. I don’t think that my 3 big dogs (Pack Cerebus) will risk singed whiskers to mess with Smokey. Then again, sometimes the wolven in them just won’t “sit” nor “stay.”
September 22, 2010 at 10:49 pm
My ideal pet is Frodo the talking dog!
I did just get a new puppy….hmmm

Would give my current cat a friend! =)

Nostra, the psychic cat!
Good choice as I like cats and had several. Got too attached to mine last one and when caner got him I have not had the heart to get another. My first cat was Gort, he used to teach me to stalk. we would take walks and he would go just ahead of me and if I stepped wrong and made a noise he would walk back and smack my ankles. When it was time to get up ( alarm or not ) he would get on my chest and stare, if that did not work he would lightly bite my nose. He would his at people that turned out to be very nice people to know. I had burlap on the walls and he and the 2 sisters would climb the walls of the spiral staircase and drop om me when I came home. He would open the fridge and raid it for goodies he and the sisters would drag upstairs and pig out on. Funniest was the big tub of butter, when I went upstairs they all were sprawled on the floor with swollen bellies.
Good luck with the new book.
October 19, 2010 at 8:59 am
I got Zippy the three headed Dragon! I’m pleased with a pet that can fly next to my big black motorcycle when I’m flyin down these winding country roads. That way I still have room in my saddle bags for my fancy hand bag and fur coat-just in case I get cold.

leather handbags are superb, they look good and they are great as gifts too “-;
December 25, 2010 at 1:39 pm
I got Zippy the three headed dragon. Now one head can eat, one can drink and I’ll still have one head to scratch. Plus, he’ll be good if I get attacked by a group of Ninja’s. Hey, it could happen!
April 18, 2011 at 5:16 am
My partner and i seriously prefer everything you post in this article. Rather unusual and also brilliant. 1 challenge though. I’m running Internet explorer together with Debian and also pieces of one’s up-to-date page layout parts certainly are a tiny wonky. My partner and i notice it’s not just a usual create. Yet still it’s something to be able to retain in view. My partner and i trust which it can aid and also always keep in the prime top quality creating.

Thanks for the heads up, Roscoe. I’ll check that out and make sure we get that tweaked.
April 18, 2011 at 4:50 pm
Your ideal pet is Zippy, the three-headed dragon!
Woot! Woot! I think Zippy will fit in quite well with the rest of my menagerie! On a side note…our little yippy neighbor dog would make him a tasty snack…hmmm… 😀
Also, I am SOOOOOOO excited about this next book! I can’t wait!
Summer
