Snails, dog treats and questionable nudity

Jimmy Buffett is coming to town soon and I got to talking with a girlfriend of mine who has much sought after tickets to the concert (It sold out in 15 minutes.). This, despite the fact that for ten years, she thought the lyrics to Margaritaville included, “Wastin’ away again in Steubenville.” Yes, I explained to her that not all of us understand the Ohio reference, least of all Jimmy Buffett who lives several hundred miles south of the Pittsburgh Tri-State area.

This led to an informal poll of my friends on misheard song lyrics. Below are the results:
